BIO
American born singer-songwriter and roots-rock artist Cody Marlowe found his inspiration at an early age in the soulful sounds of B.B. King, Merle Haggard, and The Allman Brothers Band. In the North Georgia town of Clermont, Cody was born into a musical family. At a young age, Marlowe was taught piano by his great-aunt and his mother, guitar from his grandpa and uncle, and was influenced vocally by his grandma, aunt, mother, and sister. Katie (sister) sings live with Cody on stage and on many recordings. Cody has played in Georgia and the American Southeast for over twenty years, performing in popular venues such as Eddie’s Attic, Smiths Olde Bar, Crimson Moon, and many others. Marlowe’s songs explore the polarities of good and evil in an intriguing blend of lyrics featuring lost loves and hopeful musings.
